Now you can buy audio CDs directly from India. Compared to most other countries, hindi CDs are very cheap in India, sometimes upto 4 times cheaper. I ship everywhere within India and outside.
You can order any kind of CDs, old or new. Newer CDs are more easily available, and usually cheaper than older ones. Most CDs cost anywhere between US$2-US$8. New CDs are priced around US$3-4 on average.
Shipping:
The only significant cost involved is shipping, if you want the CDs delivered to a location outside India. There are three general shipping options (for CDs shipped outside India). Cost and delivery time estimates are based on shipping from India to the US:
1. Post Office (surface)- You cannot track the order, and there is no receipt issued. It is supposed to be pretty unreliable, but I haven't had any problems with it so far. On average, it costs about US$8 for upto 2 CDs and US$2 for each CD after the first two, and takes 1-2 weeks to be delivered.
2. Local Courier- No online tracking, but in case of a problem, you can contact the company over phone (in Delhi). It is safer than the post office. On average, it costs about US$18 for upto 2 CDs and US$3 for each CD after the first two, and takes about 4-6 business days generally.
3. Fedex- Online tracking and the safest option, but very expensive. On average, it is about US$40 for upto 2 CDs and US$4 for each CD after the first two, and takes 2-3 business days.

Shipping within India is pretty cheap. For 1-2 CDs, it is Rs. 100. For each additional CD, it is Rs. 50.
The more CDs you order, the lower the shipping cost per CD. So, if you want to order just 5 or 6 CDs and you want the CDs shipped outside India, you won't be saving much, but if you order in bulk (at least 15-20 CDs), it's a huge cost advantage.
Depending on the type of CDs you want (old/new/rare), it can take anywhere between 1 to 4 weeks for me to locate the CDs. I accept quite a few payment methods, including online payment through paypal and money orders. If interested, you can contact me at kaustubh@kaustubh.com.
